The Southeast Alaska Power Agency announced rebates for its Southeast power customers in the amount of $1.65 million last month after a Dec. 13 vote by the agency’s Board of Directors. The rebate is equivalent to a little more than a full cent reduction in the wholesale power rate, which is currently set at 6.8 cents per kilowatt-hour. The Alaska Division of Sport Fish is now accepting public comment on its statewide fish-stocking plan.
