    Dennis Chapman, 65, passed away November 12, 2012 at his home in Salesville, Ark. Dennis was born to Carl B. and Lucy Chapman in Terre Haute, Ind. Dennis was an U.S. Army veteran and a Green Beret. He moved to Alaska after being hired by the City of Wrangell to be the director of the museum.     Lee Myers passed away on November 20 after a short illness. After statehood, Lee Myers became the DOT Maintenance foreman for the Wrangell highways for the 20 years. He was responsible for the 12 miles of gravel road, the airport turnaround and ferry terminal. He also had to keep the state vehicles, equipment, and road signs in repair.     ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – Alaska State Troopers say two Juneau brothers have died after their boat was hit by a wave near Tenakee Springs. Troopers have identified the men as 23-year-old Kelly Newman and 26-year-old Casey Newman. Troopers say the brothers and a third man – 20-year-old Jim Brown Jr. of Juneau – were in an 18-foot skiff Friday when a wave washed over the stern, causing the boat to sink.     A skull found near the mouth of the Stikine River in October may require radiocarbon date testing to determine if it came from a Native Alaskan.     The “graying of the fleet” continues in Alaska as fewer young folks obtain permits for various fisheries. Data from 2011 show that 45 percent of all Alaska permit holders were between the ages 45 and 60, with an average age of 47.
