    Dr. Greg and Laura Salard are pleased to announce the arrival of their two girls, Beatie, age 4, and Eva, age 3.  The Salard’s traveled to Uganda to bring their daughters home to Wrangell.  The girls’ siblings include Grace, 22, Levi, 21, William, 18, LeeAnn, 13, and Sajel, 8.  Paternal grandparents are Buzz and Janet Salard of Natchitoches, La. Maternal grandfather is Bill Stair of Mountain View, Ark.  Their Mimi Alysse and Auntie Beth are residents of Wrangell, Alaska....

    JoAnne Bell-Graves and Ken G. Levine were married August 7, 2011 at Glacier Gardens in a very intimate wedding ceremony. The bride is the daughter of the late Bob Bell of Sitka and Alice Bell of Bellingham, Wash. She attended school in Sitka and graduated from Waynes College of Beauty with a degree in Cosmetology.     The 17th Annual Harvest Festival is coming this weekend The yearly event was created to help bring in an additional sale prior to the release of Alaska Permanent Fund dividends.
