Samantha Milton is among the fourth and fifth graders at Evergreen Elementary School who are competing in a virtual statewide archery tournament. The students, like Samantha on Feb. 12, take their turns at targets 10 and 15 meters away, sending in their scores for the Bullseye Tournament. The scores will go to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for ranking — and prizes — among competitors from across the state. The tournament runs through February and is part of the National Archery in the Schools Program.
