The Anan Wildlife Observatory’s popular bear cameras will
go live on Monday, June 15.
Over the past two weeks, Wrangell students working with
T3 Alaska and the U.S. Forest Service got the Anan bear
livestream cameras up and running. The work included
maintenance of broken equipment after a harsh winter;
installation of a new junction box and wiring conduit;
installation of a new microphone at the lower photo blind; and
beginning the installation of an underwater salmon camera.
The Sentinel will report more to the story next week.
