Feeding the community
Kari Woelpl (left) and Caroline Atterberry took cover from the sun under a pop-up tent on Saturday, June 20, as they collected donations for the community food pantry. The food drive was held to replenish the shelves at The Salvation Army. The collection station on Outer Drive, behind City Hall, started at 10 a.m., and there hadn’t been much activity as of 1 p.m., which Atterberry attributed to the good weather and other events at the same time around town.
