Little League field maintenance day Saturday
Kristen DeBord (center), coach of the Little League T-ball team the Angels, and her assistant for the day, Rebekah Gile (right), ran drills with the team April 15 to get them familiar with the base names and base paths, and the rules of baseball. Little League opening day ceremonies are set for 10 a.m. May 2 at the ball field. But before then, the league is looking for volunteers for a field maintenance day, set for 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 25.
