There were close finishes in the Captain’s Coffee Co. golf tournament at Muskeg Meadows on Saturday, Sept. 5.

First place went to the team of Jim Brooks, Drew Eyon and Joe Delabrue, with a net score of 32.8, followed by Ralph Lotspeich, Julie Williams, Karl Altepeter and Carter Hammer in second with a score of 33.3.

Third and fourth places were decided by a scorecard tiebreaker on the first hole. The team of Chris Johnson, Chris Kristensen, Matt Houser and Rob Krippner took third place after making par, with Ron Schmohl, Guy Kalkins and Talon Churchill finishing fourth. Both teams finished with a net score of 33.7.

Muskeg Meadows’ last tournament weekend is coming up, with the Compass Line nine-hole, best-ball tournament set for Saturday, Sept. 12, and the club championship at 18 holes with individual scores on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Tournament play starts at 10 a.m.; register by 9:30 a.m.
