The contestants in the Wrangell Fourth of July Logging Show voted Tom Roland the winner of the Bull of the Woods sportsmanship award.
It was the 51st year for the multi-event competition, which tests cutting, sawing, chopping and other skills.
The All-Around Logger award for the most points tallied in the afternoon competition went to James Montgomery, with 27 points, followed by Tom Roland, 26 points, and Ron Schacher, 14 points.
A new event, the Heart Behind the Logger, was won by Tanya Pino, with Isabella Jones in second and Toni Marie Oliver in third.
Event organizers provided the list of winners to the Sentinel.
Power saw bucking honors went to James Montgomery, first place; Nic Sherman, second; and Ron Schacher in third.
The ax chopping winners were Montgomery in first; Garatt Weltz, second; and Roland, third.
The winners in obstacle pole bucking were Montgomery in first, Roland in second, and Clay Hammer in third.
Double-buck winners were Montgomery and Roland teaming up for first place; Hammer and Andrew Cowan taking second; and Ben Houser and Lucas Stearns placing third.
Single-buck honors went to Montgomery for first place, Roland in second and Weltz in third.
The ma-and-pa bucking winners were Tom and Sierra Roland in first; Randy and Toni Marie Oliver in second; and Clay and Makena Hammer placing third.
The choker-setting event was won by Weltz, with Roland in second and Montgomery in third place.
The ax throw winners were Ron Schacher in first, followed by Tom Roland and Randy Oliver.
Della Churchill won for Cutting the $100 Bill with her accurate ax throw.
