After running shorthanded since early September, the Senior Center is back to full staffing and back to normal lunch and ride operations.
The center reopened for in-person dining last week.
The center serves lunch Tuesday through Friday, with home deliveries available for seniors unable to come in for the meal.
Rides also are available Tuesday through Friday to medical appointments, shopping, the post office or other errands.
The center asks that seniors call a day in advance to schedule a ride or to reserve a seat at the lunch table. The number is 907-874-2066.
The center is closed on Mondays; no meals served and no rides provided for errands.
The lunch menu is posted on Page 2 of the Sentinel each week.
A Juneau-based nonprofit, Catholic Community Service, operates the senior center in Wrangell and 13 other communities in Southeast Alaska. The borough owns the building in Wrangell and makes it available for the program.
