Successful hunt
Garrett Gablehouse shot a moose just above the Garnet Ledge on Sept. 16 and hoisted it to the Reliance Dock right before Dawn Davis, who brought in her moose from a successful hunting trip at Goat Creek on the Stikine River. Dave Powell also brought in a moose to the dock that day. The moose hunting season opened Sept. 15 and closes Oct. 15.
