Muskeg Meadows Golf Course wrapped up its 2026 tournament season with a doubleheader weekend Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-13.
Saturday’s tournament was sponsored by The Compass Line Gift Shop. First place went to the team of Chris Johnson, Guy Kalkins and Karl Altepeter with a net score of 32, winning a tiebreaker over Jim Brooks, Spenser Stavee, Joe Delabrue and David Gillen.
Rodney Littleton, Rocky Littleton and Marva Reid took third at net 32.1.
Guy Kalkins won the day’s competition for the straightest drive at 8 feet, 9 inches, and Chris Kristensen took the prize for closest to the pin at 6 feet, 9 inches.
Sunday’s annual club championship was an 18-hole, individual-score tournament. Guy Kalkins claimed the 2026 title with a net score of 68. Talon Churchill finished second at net 75 after a tiebreaker over Joe Delabrue.
Brett Woodbury won closest to the pin on Sunday at 35.5 inches, and Xiao Roppel took the prize for straightest drive at 10 feet, 8 inches.
“Muskeg Meadows extends a heartfelt thank you to all of this season’s tournament sponsors, volunteers and prize donors. Your generosity and support made for an incredible 2026 season,” the nonprofit community organization said.
The course will remain open for golf and disc golf through Oct. 18.
