Obituary: McFarland

Elsie Jeanne McFarland, 72, died February 16, 2012.

Elsie grew up in Wrangell and graduated from Wrangell High School in 1957. After living in Wrangell she moved to Canada for nine years, then moving to Washington. She graduated from nursing school in Moses Lake, Wash, in 1975.

Her parents Homer Earl Rooney and Ester Ruby Rooney, and her son Paul Edward Nosler Verrall precede her in death.

Elise is survived by her husband of 27 years Arnold J. McFarland, eight children; Thell, David, Reba, Bobbie, Hope, Carol, Shirley and Roxina, two brothers; Richard and David, in addition to 17 grandchildren...
