Jonathan A. Gadd, 18, appeared before Magistrate Leanna Splinter and was found guilty of two counts of failure to pay bail/fine/appear and is ordered to pay $100 in police training surcharge and is placed on probation for one year.
Nicholas D. Lewis, 19, appeared before Magistrate Leanna Splinter and was found guilty of failure to pay bail/fine/appear and is ordered to pay $50 in police training surcharge and is placed on probation for one year.
March 21, 2012:
David M. Saunders, 57, appeared before Magistrate Leanna Splinter and was found guilty of driving under the influence, assault in the fourth degree, and two counts of violation of conditions of release. Saunders is ordered to serve a total of 75 days in jail and must pay combined fines of $5342. The defendant must contact Alaska Island Community Services and complete screening, evaluation and recommended program and pay all costs.
The defendant’s driver’s license is revoked for one year. The defendant is placed on probation for three years. Two cases of violating conditions of release and one count of criminal mischief were dismissed
