David A. McHolland, 20, appeared before Judge Kevin G. Miller and was found guilty of repeat minor consuming and is fined $1010 and must complete 50 hours of community work service.

Walter A. Stephens II, 45, appeared before Judge Kevin G. Miller and was found guilty of operating vehicle under the influence and leaving the scene of accident and is ordered to serve 15 days in jail and is fined $1725. The defendant is ordered to contact AICS and complete screening, evaluation and complete recommended program. The defendant’s driver’s license is revoked for 90 days. The defendant is placed on probation for two years.

Geoffrey Aaron Stokes, 24, appeared before Judge Kevin G. Miller and was found guilty of attempted vehicle theft. The defendant is ordered to pay fines totally $100 and must complete 80 hours of community work service. The defendant must contact AICS and complete evaluation and comply with recommendations. The defendant is placed on probation for one year.

Dustin Lee Phillips, 30, appeared before Judge Kevin G. Miller and was found guilty of two counts of disorderly conduct, challenge to fight, and is ordered to serve 10 days. The defendant must pay combined fines of $2,200. The defendant must contact AICS and complete screening, evaluation and recommended program. The defendant is placed on probation for one year.

April 3, 2012

Valerie R. Nakamura, 36, appeared before Deputy Magistrate Leanna Splinter and was found to have violated her probation and is now ordered to serve 15 days in jail and pay a fine of $450 in fines.

Kristen D. Stutz, 19, appeared before Deputy Magistrate Leanna Splinter and was found guilty of driving without a valid operators license, and is fined $150. The defendant must obtain a driver’s license and show to court before the end of probation. The defendant is placed on probation for one year.

April 6, 2012

Gerald F. Engelman Jr., 48, appeared before Judge Trevor Stephens and was found guilty of assault in the first degree and is ordered to 15 years, and must pay $200 in fines and surcharges. The defendant was also found to have violated his probation and must serve 90 days and pay $100 in jail surcharge. The defendant’s probation is extended 10 years.
