On Oct. 16, Wrangell Magistrate Chris Ellis adjudicated the following case:

Leo Garrison, 68, was found guilty of Driving Under the Influence. He was sentenced to serve 3 day in jail, fined $1,930, a loss of license for 90 days, ordered to use an ignition interlock device for 6 months, ordered to undergo a substance abuse treatment assessment, and serve one year of probation.

On Oct. 17, Wrangell Magistrate Chris Ellis adjudicated the following case:

Rolland Howell, 38, was found guilty of a Hunting Season and Bag Limits for Moose violation, which was reduced to a Strict Liability Violation. He was fined $510 and the meat from the moose was seized and donated for charitable use.
