On Oct. 31, Wrangell Magistrate Chris Ellis adjudicated the following cases:
Jason M. Rooney, 34, was found guilty of a reduced strict liability violation of big game antler requirements. He was fined $110, the moose meat was seized and distributed to a charitable organization, and he was placed on probation for one year.
Vern Meissner, 45, was found guilty of a reduced strict liability violation of hunting season and bag limit requirements for moose. He was fined $160 and was placed on probation for
one year.
Luke Carrothers, 34, was found guilty of a reduced strict liability violation of fishing season requirements. He was fined $510, and was placed on probation for one year.
