The Wrangell Wolves JV team put up 60 points against Haines on the first night a new scoreboard was put into use at the Wrangell High School gym. The Wrangell Volunteer Fire Department and Stikine Sportsmen Association sponsored the new scoreboards. Johnson’s Construction was responsible for brokering the purchase and assisted in the installation.
Wolves sophomore Laven Ritchie breaks loose and turns the corner against Haines in their 60-41 win over the Glacier Bears on Friday night. Ritchie finished the night with five points, including a trey from deep downtown. Fellow Wolves teammate, sophomore Mike Ottesen, was the big scorer, however, finishing with 29 points of his own.
