On April 30, 2013, Wrangell Magistrate Christine Ellis adjudicated the following cases:

Lindsey Carsen, 22, pled guilty to Driving Under the Influence. She was sentenced to serve five days in jail, pay $1,955 in fines and surcharges, a 90-day revocation of her driver’s license, required to use an ignition interlock device for six months, complete a substance abuse program and serve one year on probation.

Jessica Barrow, 25, of Middletown, R.I., pled guilty to Driving Under the Influence. She was sentenced to serve three days in jail, pay $1,955 in fines and surcharges, pay $849.56 in restitution, a 90-day revocation of her driver’s license, required to use an ignition interlock device for six months, complete a substance abuse program and serve one year on probation.

Jerry Knapp, 60, pled guilty to Driving Under the Influence. He was sentenced to serve five days in jail, pay $1,955 in fines and surcharges, a 90-day revocation of his driver’s license, required to use an ignition interlock device for six months, not use or possess alcohol and serve two years on probation.

Jeremy Welch, 30, pled guilty to being Alcohol-restricted in a licensed area. He was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail, pay $350 in fines and surcharges, complete an alcohol evaluation with Alaska Island Community Services, not use or possess alcohol and serve two years on probation.
