Patrons examine various varieties of chili at the 10th annual Chili Cookoff sponsored by KSTK in the High School Commons Saturday. About 100 people showed up to eat chili served out of crockpots around noon. Jeane Arnold's Venison Chili took first place. Alicia Stevens's Chili Pilli took second place. Leana Splinter's Very Veggie Chili took third. The hottest chili went to Bernie Massin's Scorpion blend, and the most original went to Charity Hommel's Oktoberfest blend.
