Dustin Phillips, 32, appeared before Wrangell Deputy Magistrate Leanna Splinter on charges of Alcohol Restricted – In Licensed Areas. The defendant was found guilty. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail with 40 suspended, ordered to contact Alaska Island Community Services to schedule an alcohol evaluation, comply with recommendations, ordered to pay $200 in fines and surcharges with $100 suspended and placed on probation for 2 years.

Joshua Gustafson, 22, appeared before Wrangell Deputy Magistrate Leanna Splinter on charges of Negligent Driving Not CMV. The defendant was found guilty. He was sentenced to pay $410 in fines and surcharges with $200 suspended and placed on probation for 6 months.
