Luxury yacht the "A" floats offshore from Wrangell's Nolan Center on Saturday morning, making one of several stops in southeast Alaska. Belonging to Russian mineral fertilizer and energy billionaire Andrey Melnichenko, the 390-foot vessel is among the world's largest private yachts, reaching speeds of up to 23 knots and displacing nearly 6,000 tonnes. It was completed and delivered in 2008 by German shipbuilders Blohm + Voss.
