Shoppers peruse vendors' wares in the Nolan Center on Saturday morning during the last Wrangell Community Market of the year. "It was a really big success," said Katherine Ivy, owner of Ivy Patch Produce and an organizer of the monthly market days. "This is probably our biggest one yet." She said between 15 and 20 vendors participated at this season's six monthly markets. Started three years ago, the community market promotes the sale of locally-produced goods and services, ranging from arts and crafts to fresh vegetables and pastries. Finished for the winter, the event will resume next April.
