Before the weather worsens, Wrangell Borough employees take down the summer banners from their posts the morning of Oct. 16. A new addition to the business district this year, the intermittent banners added a bit of local color to Front Street. The posts won't remain empty for long, though; next month holiday decorations will be put up in their stead.
