Robert "Bob" Paul Shymanski, 60, of Wrangell, Alaska unexpectedly died on February 5, 2015.
He was born in Wausau, Wis. on February 25, 1954. His passions in life were spending time with his grandkids, traveling coast to coast tasting restaurant specials to bring ideas back home to mimic, fishing, rooting for his favorite team-the Green Bay Packers and barbecuing for family and friends all across the country.
He is survived by: his wife Rose of Wrangell; daughter Danielle (Dani) Easterly (Wayne) of Wrangell; son Paul Shymanski (Carrie) of Lancaster, Ohio; grandkids Kaylyn, Abby, Alexis and Josh; mother Beverly Shymanski of Verona, Wis.; sister Christine Steger of Placitas, N.M.; brothers David Shymanski of Chilton, Wis., Doug Shymanski of New Holstein, Wis., and Steven Shymanski of Neenah, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at this time. A private memorial is planned for this summer. In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at First Bank in Wrangell to help with expenses.
