Chris Guggenbickler cracks a bottle of bubbly against the bow of Noelani Monday afternoon, before launching it for the first time into Inner Harbor. The launch drew a small crowd of onlookers as a Caterpillar loader and dump truck lowered the 42-foot vessel into the water. Hawaiian for "Mist of Heaven," Noelani has been a work in progress for more than two years, with much of the boat's welding and construction done by Svendsen Marine, LLC.
