Dan Rudy/ Wrangell Sentinel count
A group of canoers learn how to produce paddles from red and yellow cedar Saturday. Craftsman Doug Chilton from the One People Canoe Society in Juneau was brought in to demonstrate how to measure, cut and finish a full set of paddles for the new canoe constructed and launched in Wrangell last fall. The Society made good use of the woodshop at Wrangell High School to craft their implements.
