Larry Wayne Aitken, 43, appeared before First District Superior Court Judge Kevin Miller for three misdemeanor counts of Violating Condition of Release. Aitken pled guilty to all charges and was sentenced to serve 270 days in jail, with 240 days suspended, and to pay $600 in surcharges.

Steven B. Gerard, 45, appeared before First District Superior Court Judge Kevin Miller for a charge of Unauthorized Use of an Access Device, a Class A misdemeanor. Gerard pled guilty to the charge and was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, to pay $250 in fines plus surcharges. A charge of Theft in the 4th Degree was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Marika J. Garner, 19, appeared before First District Superior Court Judge Kevin Miller on the charge of Violating Conditions of Probation. The court ordered Garner to serve 10 days in jail, with credit for 10 days of residential treatment if filed with the court, and to pay a suspended $100 jail surcharge.

Thursday, April 23

An electronic judgement was entered at First District Superior Court in Wrangell, charging Lorne B. Cook, 27, with Proof of Insurance to be Carried and Exhibited on Demand. Cook failed to respond or appear, and judgement was entered pursuant to Minor Offense rules 9 and 10. Lorne is required to pay a $500 fine, court costs and training surcharges totaling $35.
