Footing it to the finish

Third- to fifth-grade girls jog toward the finish line Saturday morning during the Girls on the Run program's final 5K of the season. There were 19 girls participating in the after-school program, which promotes self-respect and healthy lifestyles. After the run, girls and their families were treated to a barbecue and engaged in a water balloon fight.
