"It was the hardest yet," she commented. Her secret is to remain sitting upright during the climb, legs kept squeezed together tightly.

Members of the Wrangell Horse Club ride in the parade Saturday in a horse and buggy. The Independence Day parade drew many of the city's various clubs and organizations, and each brought its own flavor to the celebration.
