Volunteer firefighters respond to a fire at the Wrangell landfill Tuesday afternoon. Though a definite cause was not determined by press time, the two junked vehicles may have caught fire as a result of a battery igniting. Responders had the blaze put out within minutes of arriving, and no injuries were reported at the scene.
