A LOVE LETTER
Dear Dad, I just want you to know how
special you are to me. You took care of all of us growing up. There were 7 mouths to feed. You did it without ever complaining. No
matter what, you made sure we had all we needed, clothes on our back, shoes on our feet, a roof over our heads or a new baseball glove for the next season. You taught me how to play baseball. You were my coach until your surgery that almost took your life away. At the time, I couldn’t understand why God would do that to you. I was angry at God and at you. How could you abandon me? Not until I got older did I understand what you actually went through. I felt like the biggest failure to you. How could I have been so selfish when you almost died? Since then, I understand what almost happened to you. You have become my best friend. I’m sorry for all the things I said or done to hurt you. I want you to know I have a giving heart because I learned it from you. You have done so much for me that I can’t even begin to repay you. I have a son, and I want to be there for him like you have always been there for me loving him unconditionally.
God loves you and He wrote you a love letter. It’s called the Bible.
Blessings, Charlie
