Professional basketball player Damen Bell-Holter questions a group of elementary schoolers Monday morning during his three-day Blessed 2 Bless basketball clinic. Hailing from Hydaburg, Bell-Holter was invited by Wrangell's Alaska Native Sisterhood Association to teach over 60 kids skills for on and off the court; the program is aimed at reaching out to rural youth, encouraging structure, respect, good nutrition and positivity. In the strenuous drills he also stressed the importance of practice: two hours a day to become a better athlete, but 22 hours to be a better person.
