Wrangell resident and former state Rep. Peggy Wilson conveys her excitement, while attending as an Alaska delegate to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio on July 19. Behind her, the message "Over the Top" indicated the party had officially nominated Donald Trump as its candidate for president. Trump had come in a close second during the state's March 1 primary, garnering 33.5 percent of its votes. He will be running against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton on election day, Nov. 8.
