A bevy of summer readers beat the heat at the pool on Saturday during the library's end-of-summer reading program party. This summer break 118 kids read through and completed tests on 3,487 books, winning prizes and earning tickets to throw in for a variety of raffle items. Pizzas and other snacks were purchased using grants from First Bank and the Elks Club.
