David C. Wolten, 25, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Judge Chris Ellis on the charges of Criminal Trespass 1 – in a Dwelling, and Criminal Mischief 5 – Damage under $50. The defendant pleaded guilty to both counts, and as part of his agreement six additional charges were dropped. Wolten was found guilty of the offenses and ordered to serve 30 days with 15 suspended, with credit for up to 120 verified hours of community work service if completed by November 15. The remaining balance is to be served at Wrangell jail. Wolten was also ordered to serve 10 days with 10 days suspended, make restitution of $15, pay $250 in surcharges with $100 suspended, contact AICS for screening, and to have no contact either directly or indirectly with the aggrieved.

Makena M. Hammer, 17, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Judge Chris Ellis on the charge of Minor Consuming/Possessing Alcohol, a first-time offense. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, and an imposition of sentence suspended. Hammer is to pay $10 in surcharges and a $200 fine, which could also be satisfied with 21.5 hours of community service. She was ordered to complete an AICS program and placed on probation until February 28, 2017.

Anna M. Allen, 16, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Judge Chris Ellis on the charge of Minor Consuming/Possessing Alcohol, a first-time offense. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, and an imposition of sentence suspended. Allen is to pay $10 in surcharges and a $200 fine, which could also be satisfied with 20.5 hours of community service. She was ordered to complete an AICS program and placed on probation until February 28, 2017.

Flores is to pay $10 in surcharges and a $200 fine, which could also be satisfied with 20.5 hours of community service. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, and an imposition of sentence suspended. Seddon is to pay $10 in surcharges and a $200 fine, which could also be satisfied with 21.5 hours of community service. He was ordered to complete an AICS program and placed on probation until March 6, 2017.

A charge of Theft 3 – Value $250-$747 against Kim A. Peterson, 57, was dropped by prosecutor James Scott. All charges in this case are now disposed. It is ordered that any bond posted in the case not ordered forfeited be exonerated.
