Dan Rudy/ Wrangell Sentinel count
A pair of decorative snowmen chum around amid displays at the Nolan Center's Christmas Tree Lane. The annual fundraiser benefits Wrangell Hospice, a service which provides medical equipment and care support to community members. A total of 18 items were under the hammer during the charitable auction, including 15 trees decorated by local artists and organizations. Turnout was good, bidding was fair, and the group easily made over $1,000 for its activities.
