Lucas Canton Schneider, 38, appeared before First Superior Court Judge Kevin Miller on the charge of Assault 3 – Cause Injury with a Weapon, a Class C felony. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, and an additional count of Assault in the 4th Degree was dismissed. The judged ordered that Schneider serve 18 months’ incarceration with 14 suspended, pay $90 restitution to the aggrieved, and serve three years on probation. Schneider was also ordered to pay $500 in court costs for appointed counsel.

April 24

Dana Lynn Cawthorne, 35, appeared before First Judicial District Judge Kevin Miller on the misdemeanor charge of Resist/Interfere Arrest – Risk of Injury, to which she pleaded guilty. A further charge of Assault in the 4th Degree – Recklessly Injure was dismissed as part of the plea agreement. Cawthorne was ordered to serve 20 days with 20 suspended and undergo an approved treatment program. She was ordered to pay $200 in fines and surcharges with $100 suspended, and is placed on probation for one year.

April D. Larsson, 37, appeared before First District Court Judge Kevin Miller on the charge of Harassment 2 – Offensive Physical Contact. She pleaded guilty to the charge, and was committed to corrective custody for 10 days with 10 suspended. A charge of PTRP – New Criminal Charge was dismissed. Larsson was ordered to participate and complete a treatment program, and to pay $200 with $100 suspended. She has been placed on probation for one year.
