On June 10 at 10 am Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Wrangell located a crab pot belonging to Gregory Roberts, 53 from Wrangell. Investigation determined the pot failed to have a lawful biodegradable escape mechanism. On June 24 Roberts was issued a $110 citation in the Wrangell District Court for no biodegradable escape mechanism.
On June 10 at 12 pm Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Wrangell located a crab pot belonging to Douglas Roberts, 56 from Wrangell. Investigation determined the escape rings were smaller than required. On June 24 Roberts was issued a $110 citation in Wrangell District Court for Undersize Escape Rings on a Dungeness Crab pot.
