Russell R. Stevens, 50, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Judge Chris Ellis on the charge of Reckless Endangerment, a Class A misdemeanor. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, with an additional count of Violate Conditions of Release dismissed by prosecution. Stevens was ordered to serve 120 days with 120 days suspended, and to pay $200 in surcharges with $100 suspended. He was placed on one year of probation.
Duke W. Aitken, 25, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Chris Ellis on two misdemeanor counts of Criminal Trespass 1 and Assault in the 4th Degree. Two other counts – Criminal Mischief 3 and Harassment 2 – were dismissed by the prosecution. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charges and was ordered to serve a year and 10 days in custody, with the duration suspended. Aitken was also ordered to make restitution, submit a sample of his DNA to the state on request, and pay $150 in surcharges with $100 suspended. He is to have no contact with the victim or go near Sea Level Seafoods during his year of probation, and must complete an online cultural diversity and awareness program.
Valerie R. Nakamura, 42, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Judge Chris Ellis on the charge of Driving with License Canc/Rev/Susp if for DUI, a Class A misdemeanor. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, and an additional count of No Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance was dismissed by the prosecution. Nakamura was committed to serve 10 days with 10 days suspended, and to pay $150 in surcharges with $100 suspended. She was placed on one year of probation.

David M. Johnson, 45, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Judge Chris Ellis on the misdemeanor counts of Criminal Trespass 2 and Theft 4. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charges, and was sentenced to serve 15 days with 15 days suspended. Johnson was also ordered to complete 24 hours of community work service, make $131.98 in restitution to the aggrieved, and to pay $50 in training surcharges. He has been placed on one year of probation.
Robert J. Dixon, 35, appeared before First District Court Magistrate Chris Ellis on the charges of Drunk Person on Licensed Premises and Disorderly Conduct – Challenge to Fight. The defendant pleaded guilty to both counts and was ordered to serve six days with six suspended. He was also ordered to pay $100 with $50 suspended and placed on a year’s probation.
