March 14

Heather Miethe, 47, from Wrangell was determined to be operating more than the allowed 10 shrimp pots, following investigation by Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Wrangell and Petersburg posts. Miethe has been issued a summons in the Wrangell District Court for over-limit personal shrimp gear.

March 15

Roxann Braley, 24, from Angoon, was cited by Wrangell Troopers for failing to report on her 2016 registration moose permit (RM038) within the time frame as specified by the permit. Braley was issued a $110 citation for Failure to Return Hunt Permit in the District Court of Angoon.

Mike Kilpatrick, 65, was issued a citation for Improper Buoy Markings on Personal Use Shrimp gear.

March 21

Joseph Lewis, 26, from Kake, was cited by the Wrangell Trooper for failing to report on his 2017 registration moose permit (RM038) within the time frame as specified by the permit. Lewis was issued a $110 citation for Failure to Return Hunt Permit in the District Court of Petersburg.

March 25

Wolfe Larsen, 24, from Wrangell, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Wrangell Post, for Using Sport Caught Fish as Bait in a shrimp pot. Investigation determined Larsen had used a sport caught cutthroat trout for bait in his pot. He was issued a summons for a mandatory court appearance in the District Court of Wrangell on April 4.

March 26

Justus Mikkelsen, 20, from Wrangell, was cited by the Wrangell Trooper for failing to report on his 2017 registration moose permit (RM038) within the time frame as specified by the permit. Mikkelsen was issued a $110 citation for Failure to Return Hunt Permit in the District Court of Wrangell.

Teresa Moses, 35, from Kake, was cited by the Wrangell Trooper for failing to report on her 2017 registration moose permit (RM038) within the time frame as specified by the permit. Moses was issued a $110 citation for Failure to Return Hunt Permit in the District Court of Petersburg.
