Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Elmer Mork, 60, of Wrangell, at Heritage Harbor after an investigation determined he had failed to log his personal use shrimp prior to concealing from view or leaving the fishing grounds. Mork was issued a $210 citation. Fishermen who harvest shrimp for sport, personal use, or subsistence are reminded to log their catch in ink on their permit prior to concealing the shrimp from view or leaving the fishing grounds.

Alaska Wildlife Troopers concluded an investigation involving Bruce Kautz, 63, of Wrangell, after determining he had made a false statement on a 2013 fishing license. Kautz was issued a $310 citation at the District Court at Wrangell.
