To celebrate the start of a new school year, the community was invited to a cookout at the basketball court by Evergreen Elementary School.
Besides food, there was also a raffle for a door prize at the cookout. The prize consisted of snacks and some board games. The winner of the drawing was Jayden Gillen, who is starting kindergarten this year.
