Wrangell's JOM Dancers held a blessing ceremony for several trees that were cut down by the Forest Service last Saturday morning. Four trees, three 18-feet tall and one 10-feet tall, have been sent to Juneau for the governor's Christmas trees. A fifth tree will also be put up in the Wrangell Cooperative Association's new building. The blessing ceremony included a prayer, music, and dances.
