The Wrangell Health Fair was held at the Nolan Center last Saturday, April 6. The fair was an opportunity for Wrangell residents to have a wide variety of blood tests at a reduced cost. Pictured here is Roxanna Coblentz (left) and Nancy Guthrie (right).
Blood draws were not the only thing available at the health fair. Physical Therapy Assistant Kelsey Leak (left) provided balance tests at the fair, while Speech Language Pathologist Heaven Gouch (right) provided hearing tests.
Kelly Lakin used the health fair to introduce herself to Wrangell. Lakin is Wrangell's new diabetes educator with SEARHC. She will be making personal visits to Wrangell quarterly, she said, but can also visit with patients over the phone or by video conference.
