Aug. 22: Aaron Young appeared at a felony first hearing, charged with driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aug. 30. He was released on a $5,000 appearance bond, $5,000 performance bond, and is not allowed to possess or consume alcohol.

Aug. 30: Dylan Franks was arraigned on charges of violating conditions of release. He was released on a $1,000 cash performance bond and is not allowed to leave Wrangell. A calendar call was scheduled for Sept. 17.

Sept. 3: Theodosia James was arraigned on charges of theft and violating conditions of release. As part of her conditions of release, she is not allowed to go to City Market. A calendar call was scheduled for Sept. 17.

An adjudication hearing was held for Richard Anderson, charged with a probation/parole violation. His probation was revoked, and he was ordered not to drink or patronize bars. He was also ordered to pay a correctional facility surcharge of $100.

Sept. 4: Charles Teal was arraigned on charges of a salmon fishing violation. The defendant was not present, and was given a default judgment fine of $3,000 plus a $20 police training surcharge.

Sept. 5: Judge Kevin Miller issued final judgment in the case Daniel Newport vs. Adrienne McLaughlin. Miller ordered that Newport shall recover from McLaughlin a total of $1,230, plus a 6 percent post-judgment interest rate.

Sept. 9: Cooper Seimears was arraigned on charges of assault and violating conditions of release. He was released on a $500 performance bond. A calendar call was scheduled for Sept. 17.

He was released on a $3,000 performance bond, must contact the police for fingerprinting, must wear electronic monitoring, and will submit to substance/alcohol testing.
