Take time to prepare for future

Yes, this is new to us, we have never been here before. We have many memories of past years, but what is in store for us in the future? I’m happy, though I don’t know — at least I think I am.

What if we knew that we were going to win a lottery, would we be prepared for that? What if we knew we were going to meet the person we have always dreamed about, would we recognize that person? The future is a mystery to us.

But there are many things we do know about the future; summer will arrive, planting the garden, we will eat each day, take a trip to the grocery store, enjoy boating and summer fun, make a trip to the gas station. So many things that we will need to prepare for. That is what life is like here in our world.

Have we forgotten anything? What about our soul and spirit; we also need to prepare for that. The Lord said I go to prepare a place for you and He will be there waiting for us. The preparation for us is easy, all we need to do is believe in Him, and do our best to be like Him.

So today, as you continue on your worldly journey, take the time to be prepared for your heavenly future.
