Chris Stewart, of the municipal line crew, hangs one of the 24 new banners displayed on streetlights around downtown for the summer. There are eight different designs representing the Travel Wrangell brand of the Convention and Visitor Bureau. The banners feature glaciers and other local attractions, along with Tlingit designs - the artwork is from the Naanyaa.aayí clan. A ceremony to honor the cultural artwork was held April 19 at the City Dock.
