Wrangell second graders visited the WCA carving shed on Sept. 27 to learn about the ongoing totem carving project led by master carver T.J. Sgwaayaans Young. Young answered the students' questions about the totem and talked to them about the history of totem carving. Now in its third month, the totem-carving team has begun to paint their work.
