It's a date! Elks hosting four-course Valentine's Day dinner

This Valentine’s Day, you won’t have to worry about where to eat.

The Wrangell Elks Lodge will transform its Nolan Room into a “five-star romantic restaurant” on the evening of Feb. 14. According to the Elks, romance will be the night’s theme. There will be “soft music, candlelight, five-star service,” and of course, the four-course meal.

The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., with seating times at 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m. To book a reservation, call Dawn Angerman at 907-305-0552. Seats are limited and organizers encourage anyone interested to book their tickets soon.

The dinner will cost $100 per couple. Drinks are not included in the price.

As for what’s on the menu, those in attendance will have the choice between either shrimp alfredo or steak Diane. There will also be fresh-baked sourdough bread, a crab cake appetizer, Ceasar salad and a dessert course. A twice-baked potato with brown sugar glazed carrots will be served with the steak dinner.

“The Valentine’s Day Dinner will be a terrific opportunity to acknowledge someone you love,” organizers wrote in the press release.
